Nirvana Development Academy is focused on enjoyment and development of young players, open to all children aged 5 - 10 years old. The sessions are aged-grouped with ages 5 to 6, 7 to 8 and 9 to 10, and run every Saturday morning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for children to participate in football.

The children are coached in a relaxed environment, where the focus is on fun and developing the child as a whole. Your child will be supervised from FA qualified/ in training and DBS screened coaches.

This is an introduction to football, which allows players to learn and progress each week, ensuring the children benefit physically, socially and psychologically. 

Underpinning their football development are essential life skills such as, respect, team work, confidence and self-belief.

Nirvana Development Academy is a fantastic way for children, who show the potential, to start their journey in playing team football. 

WHEN: Saturday morning: 9.30am – 10.30am.

WHERE: Nirvana Park (Hamilton Park), 100 Sandhills Avenue, Hamilton, Leicester LE5 1LU (Over the winter the sessions move to an inside location).

COST: £3 per session or £10 for a 4-week block

On Sunday 7 May 2017, the Under 11s won the League Cup. A great achievement for the team. 

Inter Club Matches - From 12pm - 1.30pm

The entire field will be full of our individual teams, where they will face each other in friendly matches. This includes children from the age of six years old playing against seven year olds and nine year olds against 10 year olds etc. All the way up to our 18 year olds. 

Parents Vs Staff - From 2pm - 3pm

Our parents will play a friendly match against our Nirvana volunteers/ Staff. This has been an annual fixture full of mixed ability and fitness, which makes for an entertaining match. Each year, there is an internal build up of anticipation of who will come out on top, who will take home this years bragging rights. 

Team Presentations - From 4pm onwards

There will be team presentations. This is where players will be rewarded for their hard efforts and stand out performances. Teams from under 7's up to under 18's will receive trophies and medals. 

BBQ

There will be a BBQ running throughout the day to replace the energy that will surely be used throughout the event. 

Leicester Nirvana Under 14's are in the league cup final on 7 May at Atlestone Park, 1.30pm. LE2 6TG. A great achievement for the team this season. Come and support the team. 

Every summer each Nirvana team will allow new players to try out for the teams. We are looking for players that will be committed to attending training and working hard for the team. Also players that have the desire to achieve. 

From now and all over the school summer, you will be able to come and talk to our coaches and become part of a growing team. 

If you have not played much football before, we also have the Saturday morning Development sessions for those aged between 5 - 10 years of age.
